18 Million Americans have diabetes and one third does not even know they have
the disease. Funds raised by the New England Classic will help with the research,
education and advisory efforts of the American Diabetes Association.
The ADA's mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to
improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

Each year more than 180,000 people die because of diabetes and this disease
costs over $100 billion annually in direct and indirect costs.
